I’m not sure how to get in contact with you, so I’m posting here. I noticed you guys changed the page dimensions for editing a draft post, good! Improvements are always welcomed! Unfortunately the change is better for pc, and not mobile, which is how I do 99% of my surfing here. See pic below.
See how the text starts off in a ‘dead’ zone? You cant zoom out to see it either. It’s not a big issue, but it’s an infuriating one because you can’t see your cursor or the first letter of a word. And it does change the Kinja experience, which is very nag.
I also noticed that the address changes to ‘Kinja.com’ for a new post, which is...different, but may be the issue. The previous way to make a post kept the same address, and created a new layer over the existing page to make the post. So the current page dimensions were used.
And Kinja doesn't have a special mobile page, which is nice when sharing links, but I believe you just change the width and height of the page of the app page is shrunk, correct? That could be the issue too.
And since I hopefully still have your attention, another thing. If I have only 3G or 1x connection, loading up any Kinja page is quite taxing, especially with the newest changes. For some reason it takes longer than it used to. And the FP, jalopnik, tends to be out of the question for visiting. Not sure if it’s the ads, but it takes a long time to load.

The change to the post editor is described over at product.kinja.com ( http://product.kinja.com/the-editor-is-… ) leave feedback there or send them an email through the form you get to through the “need help” link at the bottom of the page. (It’s in the Contact Us section on the right side of the page).

Ha!
You think kinja cares.
Kinja does what it wants, kinja hates all.

Usually the issues are background items, not the GUI. If the GUI looks nice, it at least gives the impression of sanity.

Apparently that link is giving me a 404 error. I went to the contact us page. Thanks again!

Kinja mobile has issues with parsing and re-parsing url’s in the text editor.

And for the record, I'm still on a 4S as well. It's been frustrating.

hmmm, that’s interesting, but not unexpected. I cancelled that post. I was trying to see if I could upload images from WP8 with the new editor... No such luck, still get “image upload failed” no mater what... Seems the cancel button is also broken now.
Kinja. It just
works.

yup. It have never worked under IE for WindowsPhone, except for a couple days back in the early kinja period. I can upload to just about any other system (phpbb-type systems, google image, what the font, all sorts of other stuff...) but Kinja and Mobile IE don’t get along.... Actually let me try UC and see if it works now...

UC browser upload test...
nope, UC still doesn’t
even open kinja's upload dialog correctly...

SurfCube test:
nope, surfcube also doesn’t open the dialog correctly, just like UC, which seems odd to me, since SurfCube is basically just a skin and a plugin package for mobile IE... UC is wierd-ass hybrid with a webkit backend and a rendering translator to use the WP8 display handles....
whatever, still no mobile uploads in Kinja for me.
